SHARE THE DIGNITY DONATION DRIVE
For the month of March, Mt Ommaney Centre and Retail First Shopping Centre’s have once again partnered with Share the Dignity to collect essential period products, helping local women and teenage girls in need and working towards ending period poverty.
DID YOU KNOW:
Share The Dignity collects thousands of pads, tampons and personal hygiene products every YEAR for women experiencing homelessness and poverty. When you donate sanitary products to Share The Dignity, you’re donating much more than pads and tampons. You’re giving a woman experiencing homelessness or financial crisis the essentials, so she doesn’t need to choose between food and dignity.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
You can donate in our pink donation boxes located outside Coles/ALDI and Woolworths. We encourage you, next time you’re doing your shopping, keep in mind: one for me, one for her. Imagine the impact we can make together!
You can donate:
- Packets of pads
- Packets of tampons
- Menstrual cups
- Period undies
- Reusable pads
- Incontinence pads
- Maternity pads
Please ensure all items are in their original sealed packaging for safety reasons.
Every contribution, no matter how small, is a step towards alleviating the undignified situations faced by thousands of women across the country.
